BAD LOANS, BAD NEWS: Mounting loan losses from the nation's housing and credit crisis spurred Fifth Third Bancorp to cut dividends by nearly two-thirds and move to raise $2 billion with a stock offering and the sale of some noncore businesses.

MGM unveiled the first six "classic" 007 movies set for Blu-ray today, with the titles rolling out Oct. 21, targeted for the debut of "Quantum of Solace" and, of course, holiday shopping. The good news: "Dr. No, "From Russia With Love" and "Thunderball," all with Sean Connery. All restored.
