My favorite overheard comment last night at the State Fair came from an obese man digging with a spoon in the dregs of a large plastic cup, smiling like a kid on Christmas morning. Turning to a woman I presume to be his wife, he said: “Whoa, it’s like pure syrup down here.” As a bonus, here are some photos. Notice the look of abject terror on our model seated in the middle of the Crazy Mouse ride and the ecstasy of winning a prize on the midway.
